Four Horsemen
Four Horsemen
When I got back from the war
They took my gun
They were afraid of the man
They made me become
For I was no longer a husband, a father or son
While I was serving my country
My home was undone
I don't seek no retribution
Nor revenge
I'm just waiting on
The Four Horsemen
They sent me off to work
Out on the plains
And I did just what they said
To keep somewhat sane
For I was no longer a husband, a father or son
Just some lump of meat there
Without his gun
I don't seek no retribution
Nor revenge
I'm just waiting on
The Four Horsemen
At night I close my eyes
And speak to the dead
I see their faces before me
I see them butchered
And the Four Horsemen
When the crops failed
I knew the end was nigh
I'd seen sickness and war and famine
But now was my time
For I was no longer a husband, a father or son
So I ride out to meet the Four Horsemen
And pay for what I've done
I don't seek no retribution
Nor revenge
I'm just waiting on
The Four Horsemen
To ride again
When I got back from the war
They took my gun
They were afraid of the man
They made me become
For I was no longer a husband, a father or son
While I was serving my country
My home was undone
I don't seek no retribution
Nor revenge
I'm just waiting on
The Four Horsemen
They sent me off to work
Out on the plains
And I did just what they said
To keep somewhat sane
For I was no longer a husband, a father or son
Just some lump of meat there
Without his gun
I don't seek no retribution
Nor revenge
I'm just waiting on
The Four Horsemen
At night I close my eyes
And speak to the dead

And the Four Horsemen

For I was no longer a husband, a father or son
So I ride out to meet the Four Horsemen
And pay for what I've done

The Four Horsemen
To ride again
